“It becomes even more complex. It becomes even trickier,” executive producer Kevin Falls told HollywoodLife.com at PaleyFest about the death of Ginny’s dead (Michael Beach). “It changed her whole life. It changed her relationship with her mother and her brother and as we go on in the series, you see in flashbacks how all those develop.”

Kylie Bunbury also added that we’ll see the first time Ginny goes to LA, how she’s dealing with the pressure and what it’s like to “become his spectacle.”
“I’ll think she’ll be struggling with figuring out who she is as a woman. She’ll be struggling with the fame and the celebrity of it all, because at the end of the day she’s just a ball player, and that’s all she wants to be,” Kylie, 27, told us. “I think she carries her father with her everywhere she goes. The glove that she uses is the glove that her father gave her. You’ll see how her father’s death affects her and also how it affects her mother and her brother. You get to see how his death and how he was with Ginny affects the family.”
‘Pitch’ Season 1 Photos
The second episode of the show will flashback two years, to show when all threes characters met, Ali Larter told us.
“It’s the origin story, so you really get to see what happened in her life to lead her in this direction,” she told us at TCA. “That’s how they’re going to keep going with the whole season — it’s a tool they used on The West Wing. It really works, and the writing has that feeling to it.”
So, are you excited for the rest of the season, HollywoodLifers?
