Chris Evans, 35, and Jenny Slate, 34, have only been dating for a few months, but their relationship is already going sour, according to a source who spoke to OK! magazine. It’s not that the passion has already died out. It’s just that Chris allegedly didn’t realize how explicit her comedy is! Marvel’s Captain America allegedly isn’t about Jenny’s lifestyle, and it may be a deal breaker.
“Jenny’s an avid pot smoker and her comedy sets can be raunchy. Chris has a lot of kids fans and feels he has to protect the superhero image that’s made him a star,” the source told OK! magazine. The situation apparently came to a head when Chris attended Jenny’s (awesome) August 7 show in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The show, like her usual sets, included a lot of wild jokes about sex.

Chris was allegedly really uncomfortable hearing her talk about their sex life onstage, and was “cringing” the whole time, according to the source! Well that sucks! Everyone has their boundaries, and it seems that Chris’ were pushed. He did know that Jenny was a famous comedian when they started dating though. Still, a relationship is about mutual respect, and hopefully, if this report is true, they have that in theirs!

Chris and Jenny met in October 2015 when they started filming Gifted, but they only made their red carpet debut as a couple in June 2016. That was at the premiere of The Secret Life of Pets, in which she voiced Gidget! They expressed a lot of PDA that night, and it was adorable. Though they’d been friends since Gifted, they were first linked as a couple in March 2016, when they reportedly went on a double date with Chris’ brother. This was shortly after Jenny split with her husband of three years, Dean Fleischer-Camp. We really hope these two stay together!
