1. Method Man is very, very protective of his wife.

The late Ol’ Dirty Bastard once rapped, “I’ll never reveal the Wu-Tang Secret.” It seems Method Man (aka Clifford Smith, 45) will never reveal anything about his personal life, including details about wife, Tamika Smith, 41. he proved his loyalty after celebrity entrepreneur Farrah Gray, 31, published an article titled “We Finally Have a Photo of Method Man’s Beautiful Wife’ on his website, per All Hip Hop. Needless to say, Method was seeing red!

“I’ll ask again could [you] please take it down, if [you have] any decency in you,” Method said in a now-deleted tweet. When his plea fell on deaf ears, Method went off. “I guess follows [and] likes are more important than tastefulness and decency,” he tweeted-and-deleted. He eventually quit Twitter, writing “I’m done with social media until further notice. I’ve lost faith in human decency and I will not feed the trolls any longer. F*ck you all.”

2. Tamika is a businesswoman and a mother of three.

While not much is known about Method’s better half, Tamika says on her LinkedIn page that she’s the owner of “a small business in the beauty industry” and she’s currently enrolled at the College of Staten Island. She also used to work as his personal assistant, helping keep the secret of the Wu-Tang safe.

3. She’s a cancer survivor.

Farrah’s not the first person to tangle with Meth over his wife’s privacy. Wendy Williams, 52, revealed that Tamika was battling breast cancer in 2006. This angered Method, who said not even some of their closest friends knew about the diagnosis. “My wife is one of the strongest people on the planet,” Meth told Rolling Stone. “I just want to make Wendy Williams aware of exactly what it felt like to be sitting in that hospital room, watching them pump this poison into the one you love.”

4. Tamika’s family has also suffered some tough times.

Tamika’s nephew, Dontae Hawkins, was only 2 years old when he was shot in April 1994, caught up in a neighborhood gang war, according to the Associated Press. Though Dontae lost a kidney, he ultimately made a full recovery.

5. Besides being married to Method Man, she’s just like anyone else.

“On my free time, I like to work out, study real estate, watch football or hang out with my family,” she writes on her LinkedIn, adding that she’s always “looking forward to meeting new people and making new connections.” Just, no photos – or else Method will be mad!

What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Do you think Method’s response to Farrah was correct?
