What better way to kick off summer than with a romantic wedding? That’s exactly what Jill Scott and her boyfriend-turned-husband, Mike Dobson, did on June 25 when they tied the knot after many years together. Although Jill did not announce the wedding on her social media accounts, many of her friends and family posted beautiful pictures from the event.
Making things even more romantic, Jill’s husband, Mike, planned a massive surprise for his bride. He enlisted Big Daddy Kane, 47, to perform during the reception! In an Instagram video, you can see Big Daddy Kane casually walk into the party where everyone — including Jill — is on the dance floor. It’s not until he starts rapping that they realize who he is, and the genuine surprise on Jill’s face is so exciting. Watch the video below:
