And he always jokes that Zayn should watch his words because ten to twenty years from now they all will probably be trying to set up a reunion tour to make money when the fandom dies out.”

As most Directioners are very aware, Zayn has dissed his former band countless times since he has gone solo, from calling their music “not cool” to claiming that he never wanted to be in the band in the first place. His most recent slam came in an interview with Dazed, in which Zayn said he never felt “good” or that he was treated like an “artist” when he was in One Direction. He even went on to say that he’s “free at last.” Obviously that wasn’t going to sit well with Harry!
It sounds like the more Zayn disses 1D, the more Harry warns Zayn to stop talking trash. Although we have a source who doesn’t believe this is true, it’s totally fair that Harry would be a little peeved by Zayn constantly putting down the group that gave him his start — especially if they do want to have a full band reunion in the future!
Despite the fact that Zayn said he feels “free” since leaving One Direction, he did just recently admit that he is still struggling with a lot of anxiety. Luckily he has his girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, to help him through his tough times, but even she seems to think that Zayn should probably stop dissing his former group. In fact, a source told us that she thinks rejoining 1D may actually be beneficial to his mental health!
