What a player! LeBron James showed why he's mad to prove those that believe Stephen Curry is the best baller in the NBA by breaking Shaquille O'Neal's record to become 4th highest point scorer in playoff history on May 19. Watch how he did it here! LeBron James, 31, is a man on a mission during the NBA playoffs for the Cleveland Cavaliers. LeBron overtook Shaq’s haul of 5250 points in the NBA playoffs with a beautiful backdoor effort for two. It epitomized his forceful play all-night. I mean, by halftime you could tell LeBron was in the mood and wasn’t messing around. He’d already scored 17 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds and had set himself up nicely for a triple-double game. Here’s how he broke the record.

Despite his heroic landmark, LeBron still has to go someway to catch up to the top three. Michael Jordan leads the way with 5987 points, while Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has 5762 to his name. Even the recently retired Kobe Bryant managed 5640 during his career, which is even more impressive considering the LA Lakers missed the playoffs three seasons in a row!

Earlier in the game, LeBron showed off his superb dunking skills with this effort behind his head when he had a clear run at the basket. The man is just a beast!

We are delighted for LeBron, and it just shows how dedicated he is to the sport. Since the start of the playoffs, he’s turned it on for the Cavs as they attempt to get to the NBA playoff finals for the second year in a row. Playing this well, who’s going to argue with him.

HollywoodLifers, what did you think of LeBron breaking Shaq’s record? Did you expect him to do it? Do you think he’s better than Steph Curry? Tell us what you think below!
