Jessica “abandoned” her boy to pursue fame and fortune, Ididia tells the Daily Mail. “She doesn’t see Roman as regularly as you’d like to hear. We’re in Arkansas and she’s in L.A. In fact, it’s in our divorce…that she can fly him out to California once a month as long as he’s not missing school.”
Unfortunately, these monthly visits don’t usually happen. “What she takes is just six weeks in the summer,” Jessica’s ex said, adding that she sometimes sees her Roman during Christmas, but “last Christmas, she didn’t see him.”
“But, she’s young. She’s probably not thinking about us,” Ididia told the Daily Mail. “It’s hard not to think of yourself when you are trying to build a Hollywood career.” Yikes! Such shade! However, the America’s Next Top Model contestant has been busy reportedly getting flirty and cozy with the ex-One Direction member.

Before Jessica was rumored to be Niall’s latest squeeze (after he cooled things down with Selena Gomez, 23) she was turning up the heat during ski-trips with a Jonas brother and partying with Justin. Yet, she’s been seen at numerous sports events, leading fans to sound the new couple alarm! However, though Ididia has blasted his ex for ignoring her boy, Jessica tells the Daily Mail that she Face Times and talks with Roman “every other day.”
Ididia says he feels “detached” and “indifferent” over his ex’s dating habits. What he really wants is for Jessica to be more involved in her son’s life. “My hopes for Jessica are…that she becomes a woman of God and…that she becomes the mom she truly is,” he said. “And, of course, I want her to reach her dreams whatever those are. I think that those dreams might shift as soon as the first two start to be fulfilled though.”
