“I didn’t even know why my name was mentioned,” Amber EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com while discussing the 2016 Amber Rose Slutwalk. “But I am glad that he didn’t lie about anything…I feel that guys lie about stuff all the time. So, I am glad that he just said it straight and that was cool.” To hear more about Nick and Iggy, head over to iTunes and download the latest HollywoodLife podcast for free!
Amber got tossed into this love and basketball scandal thanks to an assist by D’Angelo Russell, 20. “What about Amber Rose? You never tried?” D’Angelo asked Nick while he filmed his teammate’s confession. Nick shot down that idea, saying “No, she knows my girl.” He may be a cheater, but it seems Nick is no liar.
Nick even owned up to the video — sorta. “What happened is what happened,” he said before the Los Angeles Lakers played the Miami Heat on March 30. “Ya gotta work on it.” Well, now he needs to “work on” saving his relationship.
Iggy thanked D’Angelo for recording Nick, saying that she “actually liked his film. Thanks bro.” Iggy even asked for the receipts on Nick’s affairs, ask for “proof of [his] cheating” because she doesn’t want to “marry a cheater.” Even if she does get the evidence she wants, a source close to the singer EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com that it’s “hard for her to imagine a life without him.”
While Amber’s cool with Nick’s confession (and that he didn’t lie about banging her) the rest of the sports world has turned on D’Angelo for recording the confession. Retired NBA player Stephen Jackson, 37, said, “snitches get stitches, man. Old rule.” Plus, when D’Angelo hit the court against the Heat, the entire Los Angeles Staples Center erupted in boos!
