‘DWTS’: Mischa Barton Believes She Can Win Season 22, Despite Judges’ Harsh Comments

Poor Mischa Barton! After a rough first tango with Artem Chigvintsev during the season premiere, HollywoodLife.com has learned that Mischa is scared she'll be voted off 'Dancing with the Stars' tonight. Mischa Barton, 30, has barely had a chance to put on her dancing shoes, and she might be going home already. We've heard that despite being raked over the coals by the judges last week, she hopes to redeem herself in tonight's March 28 episode -- and maybe even win the whole competition!

A source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Mischa felt pretty good about her tango to the Weeknd‘s “In the Night” in the season premiere. “She didn’t in any way feel she did as bad as the judges told her she did,” the insider says. Unfortunately, it may just affect her chances at moving forward: “She is scared she will be the first one on the chopping block,” the source adds. “Mischa really hopes to have another chance and prove her critics wrong. She really believes that she can win the show!” We think so, too!

This season, Mischa is dancing with Artem Chigvintsev. Their tango to “In the Night” in last week’s premiere was pretty awkward, and judge Carrie Ann Inaba said she respects Mischa’s courage pointed out that she’s not a natural dancer. Len Goodman was harsher: “That wasn’t a dance, that was walking. Not enough Tango!,” he said. Bruno Tonioli said that Mischa could use more spunk and needs to connect with the audience more. Mischa and Artem got a 16 — not great!
