We were shocked when he dumped Jojo Fletcher. Even though he said that he was in love with her, he clearly loved Lauren Bushnell more. We couldn’t believe that up until the very end he kept telling JoJo that he loved her and was confused.
We had an idea that he might not pick JoJo because earlier in the episode she said: “I’m scared. To hear Ben say he doesn’t know who he would want to propose to, that blows my mind. I feel like I’m leaving here, with actually for the first time, having a concern.” Considering he told all the girls that he loved them, we knew they were both confused.
“I thought Ben and I were on the same page, and I know we’re not on the same page,” JoJo said. “Do I love him more than he loves me? Am I seeing something completely different? Tonight is more important to me than now than I thought it was going to be. I want to know more about how he’s feeling.”
