Um, did I accidentally jinx Sasha and Abraham? Just a few days ago I wrote up that they needed to hook up ASAP, especially after seeing Rick and Michonne get it on, but now it looks like things might be going in a completely different direction. No, wait, let me rephrase that: the WRONG direction entirely.

A preview from the upcoming Feb. 28 episode shows what appears to be Sasha and Abraham having a little flirt-session post guard duty, but then turns into something a little less exciting. When Abraham tells Sasha he’ll see her tomorrow she hesitates before breaking the news that she won’t be on the same shift as him anymore, that she switched and now Eugene (Josh McDermitt) will be taking her place. Obviously, Abraham is super bummed by this new information, but he doesn’t question it.

Ugh, why is this happening? Well, let’s be honest… there are a few reasons Sasha could be cutting Abraham loose instead of tying him down.

For starters we have Rosita (Christian Serratos), who has been Abraham’s lady since long before they became part of Rick’s group. Could Rosita have said something to Sasha to make her want to back off, if only for her own moral compass? Totally possible.

It’s also possible that Sasha isn’t actually putting a stop to things but instead, trying to speed them up. It’s probably not a great idea for them to start a romance while working together, so by switching shifts she allows them a chance to start fresh and off-the-clock. Hmm!
