‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Recap: Meredith Seeks Therapy After Her Brutal Attack

Following last week's scary ordeal, Meredith sought therapy on the Feb. 18 episode of 'Grey's Anatomy.' And it was during her talks with her therapist that she realized being alone isn't always what's best. So is she finally going to start dating again? Find out! Last week's attack on Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) was definitely hard to watch, but believe it or not, some good may have actually come from it. While in therapy on the Feb. 18 episode of Grey's Anatomy, Meredith came to the conclusion that it's time for her to start living her life and stop looking at herself as a widow.

So does this mean Meredith is going to finally start dating again? That, we’re not sure about. But what we do know is that Meredith realized she likes being surrounded by her loved ones. After believing she’s better off alone, her therapist opened her eyes to the realization that maybe she’d benefit from being around people, and she should embrace it. He also told her to stop looking at herself as a widow and start living her life. When she asked what she should do, he said “whatever you want.”

Elsewhere in the hospital, we discovered that Jo (Camilla Luddington) neither said “yes” or “no” to Alex’s (Justin Chambers) proposal, but she was still avoiding him at all costs. That is, until she had some sort of realization at the end of the episode and we saw them kissing in the back of Meredith’s vehicle. We’ll take that as a “yes” to his proposal!

Owen (Kevin McKidd) also seemed to indicate that Riggs was with his sister when she died, and he was supposed to protect her. So we can’t blame him for not liking the dude. However, an intimate talk with Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) warmed Owen up to the idea of giving Riggs a chance. She said that if his sister loved Riggs, then he must have good qualities. They even worked on a surgery together, but then started bickering after it was done. So, they may not be best friends yet, but this is progress!

In other Grey Sloan news, Maggie is still sleeping with Andrea — on the down-low — but Richard (James Pickens, Jr.) caught on to them after he awkwardly urged Andrew to act like an animal in the bedroom.

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should Meredith start dating again? Are you glad Alex and Jo have finally worked things out? Tell us below!
