New information reveals that Michael Cavallari’s death may not have been as suspicious as it originally appeared. Officials believe that Michael may have died due to the freezing temperatures in the area, reports TMZ. The temperatures may have dropped to as low as the teens at night, and they would have only gone as high as the 30’s during the day. How awful.
Michael’s body was found three miles from his abandoned car on Dec. 10, two weeks after he went missing on Nov. 27. There were no signs of trauma, drugs, or alcohol, nor was a suicide note uncovered, the report claims. Officials believe that Michael may have been “walking for help” after crashing his car 100 yards off of the main road. The only remaining suspicious aspect of the situation is that Michael left his cell phone in his car, though the report claims service in the area is not great.
For right now this is just a “working theory” on how Michael died, but an official cause of death will be determined after a toxicology test is done. Sadly, Michael’s sister, Kristin, appeared absolutely devastated shortly after breaking the news that her brother was dead.
Our thoughts remain with Michael’s family and friends during this very difficult time.
