The holiday episode is titled “Cold As Ice,” and everyone looks like they’re on edge. Caroline’s trying to get into the holiday spirit, but it’s just not happening. I mean, she’s pregnant with her former teacher’s babies. However, we can’t take our eyes off her baby bump!
We’re not exactly sure if she’s going to go through a Bella Swan-type of thing and her pregnancy will be a rapid process. It can’t be easy being pregnant when you’re a vampire or living in Mystic Falls! This was the perfect way to handle Candice King’s real-life pregnancy. No one likes your fave characters hiding behind lamps for an entire season!
As we all know, Caroline and Alaric — her baby daddy — are engaged in the flash-forward. And their little girls are adorable. (They’re technically Jo’s, but still.) Yes, that means Steroline is not a thing in the future. But don’t give up just yet. “In an upcoming flash-forward, we’ll see that perhaps everything isn’t perfect between the couple, so there might be hope for Steroline yet,” Entertainment Weekly reports. Yes, yes, yes!
