1. She’s been in a ton of music videos.
We all saw her in “Baby” with Justin, but that was just one of many music videos full of guys chasing her around. Some of the more interesting? She was the angel in Kanye West‘s “Jesus Walks” video, a party girl in “Eenie Meenie” by Sean Kingston, 25, and most recently, an ex-girlfriend in “This Could Be Us” by Rae Sremmurd.
2. She can crush the “National Anthem” like nobody’s business.
Jasmine V got her first big break after singing the “National Anthem” at a Los Angeles Clippers game when she was just 11. Since then, she’s performed at over 15 sporting events including the Mayweather vs. Ortiz boxing match. That performance was so amazing that she became the top trend on Twitter because of it!
3. She calls her fans “Jasminators” and there are A LOT of them.
Jasmine has gotten a lot of her fans from her online presense, and her fans go hard for her! Her YouTube channel has over 100 million views, and her most recent hit “That’s Me Right There” with Kendrick Lamar, 28, has over 10 million views. Woah! It makes sense, as she posts a lot of cool behind-the-scenes videos. Plus, her Instagram and Twitter accounts are chock full of down-to-Earth and inspirational quotes.
4. She does amazing covers of other artists’ songs.
On her YouTube channel, Jasmine does really creative stripped-down covers of other hit songs. Recently, she did “Main Chick” by Kid Ink with YouTuber Golden, and “Uptown Funk” with Fifth Harmony. After you hear Jasmine’s versions, you’ll forget the originals ever existed.
5. She’s been in some of your favorite TV shows from your childhood.
Back when she was younger, Jasmine made guest appearances on several of the shows you just couldn’t get enough of. Just a few of them? The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, That’s So Raven as a teacher’s pet, and My Wife and Kids as Rachel. This girl has tried her hand at everything!
HollywoodLifers, send your best wishes to Jasmine V in the comments!
