“After some time had passed and I had moved to L.A., became single, and we continued in our friendship until it did become romantic and we dated steadily for a few years,” Mia said in a Q & A. “I read reports of this being seen as cheating, but not to my knowledge. True, he asked me to meet his ex [Blac Chyna] and hang out with the two of them numerous times so I assumed she knew about me even though I chose not to meet her.”[jwplatform teDBsvAD]
In the interview, Mia also spoke about how she and Tyga met in the first place. “We had mutual friends,” she said. “I was still in a relationship, but I entertained the conversation, allowed him to send me a picture of himself… We continued to talk as friends for months… We became close as fiends, and he continued to pursue me for months after.”
Though the alleged news of Tyga and Mia’s relationship broke back in July, it is still unclear who initially leaked the claims. “I don’t have the proof,” she said. “We had been threatened that an old roommate of mine who had footage of us hanging out but again I can’t say for sure. All I know was there were many fake accounts impersonating me and threatening the release of a sex tape of myself and Tyga. I can only go off what was told to the media like everyone else because I have no hard proof.”
