2. Flavia is dating fellow Italian tennis star Fabio Fognini. We couldn’t think of a more gorgeous athletic couple than them! He’s been a huge supporter of his lady, especially on his social media accounts, where he posted a picture of them embracing with the caption: “So proud of you!”
3. Flavia was introduced to tennis by her father when she was just 5 years old. When she was 17, she won the 1999 French Open in girl’s doubles. Her partner? Her U.S.Open Finals opponent Roberta Vinci!
4. Flavia knows the courts at Flushing Meadows! She made it to the finals of the US Open in the doubles event in 2005 and 2014. Now, she can add 2015 to her list of making it to the singles title match! This is her first time in a Grand Slam singles final.
5. She rocks a bikini well!! She’s athletic, talented, a tennis champ and gorgeous! Some people are so blessed.
