Jensen Ackles Reacts To Jared Padalecki Canceling Fan Appearances

“In true Jared fashion, he exhausted himself to the point where he had to tap out,” Jensen said at JIBCON (also known as the Jus In Bello convention) on May 15. “He needed to go home and get some rest and be with his family. He knows that this family is gonna miss him, and I told him, ‘Please, take care of yourself.’ We didn’t want him to exhaust himself anymore, so it’s good. As you know, he’s a big guy with a big heart, and he gives a lot of it out. He needed to get some rest, so keep him in your thoughts and send him some wishes.”

Aw! That is so sweet. Jensen is truly the best. They’ve been co-stars for 10 years, so it’s clear their bond is stronger than ever. Jensen also sent his love to Jared on Twitter.

Is anyone else crying?

Jared’s manager Dan Spilo of Industry Entertainment released this statement to HollywoodLife.com:

“Jared wanted everyone to know he loves meeting his fans around the world and was very upset at having to cancel his trips to Rome and Australia.  Jared has pushed himself to his limits and is suffering from exhaustion.  His SPN family is so important to him, and he asks that they Always Keep Fighting.  At this time he needs to be home with his family.  He’s doing better already and is excited about shooting  “Supernatural” season 11 this July.   For now he’s taking a break, but is so appreciative of his fans, and sees and feels their love and support.”

Jared Padalecki: Fans Concerned After Cryptic Tweets

Jared sparked worry among his fans on May 15 after he tweeted that he was in “desperate and urgent” need to be with his family. In his time of need, he asked his fans to send him love via Twitter.

Fans flooded Twitter with messages to Jared, including the hashtag “#AlwaysKeepFighting.” The phrase is Jared’s T-shirt campaign that benefits the To Write Love on Her Arms organization that builds awareness for those dealing with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicidal thoughts. Jared opened up about his own depression just months ago to our sister site Variety.

We’re all sending Jared good vibes right now. We love you, Jared!
