Val Chmerkovskiy & Rumer Willis ‘Toxic’ Cover On ‘DWTS’
Okay, Rumer Willis is officially a triple threat.
We knew she could act, we know she can freaking dance, and now we know she can sing too! For one of her last performances on this season of Dancing, Rumer will dance to the soothing sounds of, well, herself! Yup, Rumer has recorded a cover of Britney’s “Toxic” and she has supposedly been “working on it for weeks,” a source revealed to Us Weekly.
But it gets better! Along with Rumer, Val is going to be featured on the song as well– playing the violin! As it turns out, Val is a “classically trained violinist and played concertmaster violin with [his] youth orchestra in Carnegie Hall.”
Okay, these two are so talented, it’s bordering on annoying!
Rumer & Val Hit The Studio
The song is sure to be a top notch cut, too.
“Linda Perry produced the song, and it’s a really sexy, cool arrangement of Britney’s famous tune,” the source added. “They are super excited about it — it sounds absolutely amazing. Rumer’s thrilled to finally share it with the world!”
Val seems to be excited too, having posted an Instagram from inside the recording studio. “Spent a little time in the studio with @ruelarue + @jesusonmars – excited for you all to hear it!” he commented. “Tune in to @dancingabc Monday night #DWTS #TeamValenRue”
What do you think of Rumer and Val dancing to themselves?
