‘Pitch Perfect 2’: Beca & Jesse Make Out
We’ve missed you while you’ve been gone, Pitch Perfect!
See what we did there? Well, thankfully, all our favorite a cappella babes are back and sounding better than ever! In this just released trailer, we learn that the Bellas will be competing in an international vocal competition at which no American team has ever won because, to quote Gail (Elizabeth Banks), “the whole world hates us.” She obviously cracks up as she says it, natch.
Also, just to make sure our heart is completely thawed after watching, we totally get a smooch shot between Beca and Jesse! May 15 come faster please!
The Bellas Are Back
So, yeah, obviously the clip is freaking hilarious, but it’s also going to give you all of the musical feels. First, we get to hear the gals take on the Carrie Underwood classic “Before He Cheats,” and we literally dare you not to sing along.
Then, in what we can assume was a personal gift to us, the ladies reprise the classic “Cups (When I’m Gone)” and it is just as chill-inducing as when we first heard Anna take it on solo in a distant time called 2012.
