‘Pretty Little Liars’ Recap: A Liar & A Cheater
Aria (Lucy Hale) was still in denial that Mike was possibly teaming up with Alison (Sasha Pieterse) in some way. Girl, Mike is shady with a capital S. She was so distracted by Mike that she cheated up a storm during her math test. Cheating is never the answer, Aria. Ever.
She thought she was safe, but new guy Andrew confronted her after class about the cheating. He made her a pretty nice offer. She could either take him up on his tutoring services or get in trouble. She obviously chose the help.
Hanna was beginning to worry about money for college since her mom didn’t have a job now. Spencer (Troian Bellisario) mentioned Hanna’s dad, and she wasn’t totally opposed to the idea.
Emily and Talia’s romance was going so well. Their cute bike riding date ended with a kiss! Unfortunately, their happiness wouldn’t last long.
Aria got a random call from a person named “Hank Mahoney” at the prison. When she picked up, total silence. Gasp.
‘Pretty Little Liars’ Recap: Magic Mike
ALERT: We were blessed with a beautiful scene of Mike Montgomery working out in his room. He was shirtless and sweating. Mike, how much you’ve grown up.
This perfect moment of fangirl obsessions was interrupted by Aria. She screamed at Mike about the prison call and demanded that he come clean. Mike, as usual, threw Aria a pissed off look and said nothing.
Ezra was starting to notice the flirtationship brewing between Emily and Talia, but he had one thing to note. SHE WAS MARRIED. TO A DUDE. Needless to say, Emily was floored.
Mike and this “Hank Mahoney” character had an online chat. They were supposed to meet up for an exchange. Mike had vials of the girls’ blood hidden in his protein drink!
MIKE, WHAT ARE YOU UP TO?
Meanwhile, Spencer was getting super close to Johnny while Toby (Keegan Allen) was off doing his police officer duties. Johnny took Spencer along for a little artwork job at Hearst. Their sexual chemistry was pretty much undeniable. However, their constant flirting hit a bit of snag when Spencer found out that they actually vandalized the college.
Wow. Johnny’s got to go. Arrest him, Toby!
‘Pretty Little Liars’ Recap: He’s Baaaaaack
Aria’s tutoring session with Andrew took a huge detour when Aria had to go after Mike. Emily spotted him at an ATM taking out HUGE wads of cash. His receipt said he had $18,000 in his checking account. Um, this is getting too shady.
Since Mike had taken the car to meet “Hank,” Aria and Emily had to ask Andrew for help. They followed him to a random restaurant where they saw he was meeting CYRUS PETRILLO to hand over the blood. He’s baaaaaaaack.
Meanwhile, Hanna finally gathered up the courage to go see her dad. She sweetly asked for his help with paying for college. He was a total tool and said he couldn’t afford to put two kids through school. Yeah, he was paying for Kate’s college tuition and not Hanna’s. I. Can’t. Even. Deal.
Hanna left in a hurry but forgot her phone. Ezra (Ian Harding) noticed that Hanna was flustered and offered to help. They had the best heart-to-heart about college. She told him how he paid his way through college by working odd jobs, including one as a Hot Dog Man. Despite what her dad thought, Ezra always knew that Hanna had goals.
Where are all the Ezra’s in life? I’d like one for Valentine’s Day. Thanks.
‘Pretty Little Liars’ Recap: Bound By Blood
As Hanna left The Brew, she noticed an ad for a beauty pageant. This is a great idea. Hanna is beyond gorgeous.
Emily, Aria and Spencer started a stakeout outside the restaurant where Cyrus and Mike were conversing. Mike left, and then Cyrus cornered them on his bike. He didn’t appreciate being followed, but he wasn’t totally opposed to making a deal, possibly about those vials of blood. Before this deal could be made, Andrew came over with a baseball bat and told him to back off.
Darn you, Andrew!
Talia wanted a chance to explain herself about her marriage situation. Turns out, she married her best friend right out of high school. Their relationship — at this point — wasn’t sexual. Talia and Emily still have a chance!
After she thought about it, Spencer realized she did have a lot of fun on her date with Johnny. She liked spending time with him, but she needed boundaries. She still wanted to get into college and not be arrested, ya know?
Spencer, Hanna and Aria were all brewing over the latest developments in the “A” saga at Spence’s house, and it was about to get a whole lot crazier.
Mike showed up at Spencer’s door! Seriously, what is going on. Has Mike gone full-on, super-attractive serial killer on us?
“A” had the vials of blood and the video of Hanna and Caleb describing how they would get rid of the barrel. Whoever was doing all this work was putting Hanna’s blood on Mona’s clothes!
Ruh roh. Poor Hanna.
