Hugo Sanchez Jr: Soccer Player Found Dead At 30

So sad. Hugo Sanchez Jr., the son of Real Madrid's star player, has been found dead inside an apartment in Mexico City. Another man's body was found with him. Hugo Sanchez Jr., 30, has died. He was the son the legendary soccer player, Hugo Sanchez, 56, who played for Real Madrid before becoming a soccer coach. Unfortunately, his son was found lifeless inside an apartment in an upper class area of Mexico City, Mexico.

Hugo Sanchez Jr. Dead: Hugo Sanchez’s Son Found In Mexico City

How sad for the Sanchez family.

The son of a legendary soccer star was found dead inside of an apartment in the Polanco neighborhood of Mexico City on Nov. , reports Yahoo.

Hugo Jr. apparently died of gas intoxication, a Red Cross spokesman revealed after his body was found.

Sadly, Hugo Jr. was not the only person killed — a second, unidentified man was also found inside the apartment.

Hugo Jr. Was An Only Child To His Father

In a truly heartbreaking turn of events, Hugo Jr. was the only child for his father, Real Madrid player Hugo Sanchez.

The boy’s full name was Hugo Sanchez Portugal, although he was often referred to as Hugo Sanchez Jr.

Much like his father, Hugo Jr. also played soccer — playing for Mexican clubs Pumas and Potros de Atlante. Later, he became the sports director of the Miguel Hidalgo district in 2012.
