Ian Somerhalder’s Cat Likes To Sit On His Butt
It’s a scenario that any cat owner knows all too well. You come home after a long day of work, plop down face-forward on your bed, and prepare to read a book/do some homework/marathon TVD on your laptop. Life is just grand. Then, suddenly, you feel a weight on your bed — and within seconds, your cat has taken up residence on your backside. And he’s purring! What do you do? How do you react? I mean, he just looks so cute and comfy! I couldn’t possibly move him, right? That would just be… wrong… somehow.
Poor Ian dealt with this all-too-common scenario on Jan. 22, when his adorably pudgy ginger cat Moke decided to take residence on Ian’s butt for an undisclosed period of time. Ian, being a crazy cat person just like the rest of us, did what any responsible cat owner would do — he gave in. He realized that Moke had taken total ownership of his body and soul when he adopted him a few years back, and that there was nothing he could possibly do about it.
Well, accept for hand his phone over to one of his buddies to take the perfect Instagram pic, that is!
“Getting work done from bed,” Ian wrote. “Umm… What’s odd about this work day??? Boy he loves his dad.”
Cats are seriously the best. What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Does Ian look oh-so-adorable with Moke? Do you feel guilty every time you move a comfortable looking cat, despite the fact that said cat spends at least two-thirds of its life maxing and relaxing? Let us know in the comments!
