Gracie Gold’s Makeup — Figure Skater Rocks Winning Beauty Looks
“Lashes and lips are something that I’ve always gone for,” Gracie told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“The red lip is kind of my thing. It started last season as I started to get more internationally known. I had a red and blue dress — very iconic USA colors — so a red lip fit really well, so it became my thing. I’m not super adventurous with eye makeup. I stick to my browns and bronzes. Very safe.”
Thanks for COVERGIRL, we actually got to skate with Gracie before Nationals. Check out this amazing spin she did for us:
Gracie is just like most girls — she learned how to do makeup from her mom.
“I learned a lot from my mom. I would see her do her makeup in the bathroom. She would do my makeup for competitions, because you can’t give an eight year old an eyeliner pencil! I’ve also learned from Instagram — I follow COVERGIRL.”
Since she wears a lot of makeup for competitions, it’s important to remove it all before bed and cleanse skin before applying again.
“In the morning, I use an oil-free Olay face wash then an oil-free moisturizer. I try to keep it simple and clean.”
“For training, I try to keep it light. Powder foundation and a little concealer for under my eyes and blemishes. But I always wear mascara and lipstick, even for training. Maybe it’s a figure skating thing! I always have a little bit!”

Gracie’s makeup artist Katie Robinson told HollywoodLife.com exclusively how you can copy Gracie’s pretty red lip:
“Gracie’s signature look is a bright red lip! She uses COVERGIRL Lip Perfection for a beautiful, rich color with a moisturizing formula.”
“Red lips are a toughie, because red lipsticks are usually really highly pigmented. To keep them from bleeding, I suggest covering your entire mouth with a waxy concealer that the lipstick can adhere to. After tracing and filling in your mouth with a red lipliner and lipstick, trace the outer corners of the mouth with concealer using a sharp angled brush. To go the extra mile, take a single ply of tissue paper, place over your mouth and brush with a translucent powder. After, remove the tissue, and re-apply the red lipstick. Not only will your lips not bleed, but they will last all day.”
Would you rock a red lip like Gracie, HollywoodLifers?
