Family was the most important thing in Paul’s life, so moving on for his brothers must be extremely difficult. On Dec. 4, four days after the tragic car crash, Cody was seen outside Paul’s home in Santa Barbara, filling his car with boxes.

In the photo you can see other belongings of Paul’s — a gun and a surfboard included — in Cody’s car. You can also see Paul’s neighbor hugging Cody.

Paul’s Dad: He Was All About Family

Paul’s father has been doing interviews since his son’s death, and revealed that while Paul was an actor and icon, he was really a family man– and the most important thing in his life was his daughter Meadow Walker, 15.

Paul would tell his dad, “I want to take a hiatus,” Paul Sr. said in an interview with CBS2. “‘She’s just 15 and I don’t have much more time to be with her.’ Then boom, he got another movie. He would say, ‘I don’t know what to do.'”

“His heart was so big,” Paul Sr. added. “I was proud of him every day of his life.”

Paul was focusing on getting closer with his daughter before his death, as she moved in with him shortly before.

“The worst part is that he was finally getting his time with Meadow,”  source close to Paul’s family told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “He was happier than you can imagine to have her living with him full-time. She was the love of his life, he was an amazing dad and he was so happy that she chose to live with him because he never felt like he got enough time with her.”

The source added that they had fun no matter what they were doing.

“They were like two peas in a pod, they loved hanging out and playing video games or basketball or going to Disneyland,” the source added. “Paul was a big kid so being with Meadow was playtime for him. And she was a total Daddy’s girl, she adored him.”
