In fact, it’s so under wraps that neither The CW nor Warner Bros. TV gave the site a comment.
Why Is Klaus Returning To Mystic Falls?
An obvious assumption would be that Klaus is itching for a reunion with Caroline (Candice Accola), considering their short-lived relationship — if you can even call it that — was left totally open ended. In fact, Klaus actually told her he intended to be her “last” love, implying she hadn’t seen the last of him. And not to toot my own horn, but I made a wish list of things I’d like to see on The Vampire Diaries this season, and one of them was Klaus’ much-needed return to Mystic Falls:
Caroline and Klaus … have loose ends that could really use some tying up. I’m not asking for long-distance romances, necessarily, but a little closure for either or both couples would be nice.
I also said I’d like to see Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Matt (Zach Roerig) reconnect, but I guess I can’t get too greedy with my wishes.
But hey, with a show like The Vampire Diaries, there’s no limit to the number of reasons why Klaus might be heading back. Maybe Klaus is coming to tell everybody he killed Tyler. Or maybe he heard there were three freakin’ Nina Dobrevs running around town and he wanted to see it for himself!
The possibilities are endless, HollywoodLifers, so head to the comments section and share your best guess. Why is Klaus coming back to Mystic Falls?
