Garrett Clayton Romances Debby Ryan On ‘Jessie’ — First Photo

The 'Teen Beach Movie' star trades sun and surf for the Big Apple on the Disney Channel sitcom -- but he's still headed for a wipeout! Garrett Clayton may have played a ladies' man in Disney Channel's Teen Beach Movie, but it looks like his smooth operating doesn't carry over to all of his projects. Garrett makes a special guest appearance on the Nov. 1 episode of Jessie, and in this first-look photo from the episode -- obtained exclusively by HollywoodLife.com -- he appears to be striking out with Debby Ryan's titular nanny.

The episode, titled “The Blind Date, The Cheapskate, & The Primate,” finds Garrett’s character attempting to woo Jessie over a spaghetti dinner — but something tells me the couple won’t be meeting in the middle, Lady & The Tramp-style. (Not that sitting on crates and eating off a cardboard box in the middle of the park isn’t totally romantic…)

Garrett’s episode of Jessie airs Friday, Nov. 1, at 8 p.m. on Disney Channel.
