Chris Brown’s Community Service Sentence — Why He’s Determined To Complete Extra Hours
Chris is so ready to wipe his slate clean, a source close to the singer tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“He wants all this sh** behind him and quick,” the source says. “It’s too much stress for him. He’s too young to be having all this in his life.”
Chris, 24, is fighting so hard to put his ongoing battles with the criminal justice system behind him, and friends say he has a “positive” outlook for the future.
“They say if it don’t kill you, it makes you stronger,” the source continues. “This is another hurdle in his journey but he’ll walk through it and be better. All those people — the courts, the people behind this system, the media — they think they’re going to kill him but only time will show how in the end, it’s motivating him to prove everybody wrong.”
Good for you, Chris! Hang in there!
We told you a judge reinstated Breezy’s probation on August 16 and ordered him to do 1,000 more hours of community labor after the Los Angeles County District Attorney accused Chris of fabricating the number of community service hours he completed. The D.A. believes the “Turn Up The Music” singer submitted false community service reports, thereby violating his probation in the Rihanna assault case.
The D.A. also says Chris swore he was picking up trash in his home state of Virginia, when in reality, he was living the good life aboard a private jet en route to Cancun, according to TMZ.
We’re not sure what really happened, but it sounds like Chris is truly determined to complete his hours and put the past behind him this time.
Now it’s your turn to sound off, HollywoodLifers. Do you think Chris has finally learned his lesson?
