Rob, We’re So Happy You’re Putting Your Health First
There’s one more major reason that makes quitting smoking a smart career decision. And we know that you’re very ambitious career-wise, which you should be. Smoking literally ages your face and body, according to Cancer.org. It chronically deprives your skin of oxygen and nutrients. There are over 4000 chemicals in tobacco smoke and many trigger the destruction of collagen and elastin – the fibers that give your skin strength and elasticity.
That translates into sagging skin and deep wrinkles- not something that’s good for your career as a leading man. The last thing you want are lines all around your lips caused by smoking. ” Smokers use certain muscles around their lips that cause them to have dynamic wrinkles that smokers do not,” explains dermatologist Jonette Keri, MD, of the University of Miami Miller School of medicine.
Lastly- smoking makes your teeth get yellower and it’s also a leading cause of persistent bad breath- yuck- gum disease and other oral hygiene problems.
Now, Rob, we also hear at Hollywoodlife.com that quitting has been a long and torturous process, mostly because so many of your friends still smoke and it’s hard to resist the temptation of a cigarette when they are indulging. Nevertheless, you’ve got to stay on this path.
You’re being a great role model for all of your fans and it will definitely pay off in both longterm health and career benefits for you!
