Terri Hernandez Speaks About Son’s Murder Charges
Terri Hernandez was at her home in Bristol just hours before her son was arraigned in court for the murder of his former friend.
“All I can say is that he will be cleared of all these charges in the end,” she said to local outlet The Bristol Press. “Just let it play out until the end.”
The former NFL star was arrested at his home on June 26, one week after Odin was found dead in an industrial park a mile from Aaron’s house.
Odin Lloyd Allegedly Murdered — Did Aaron Hernadez Kill Him?
The Bristol County District Attorney said that Odin was shot five times with a .45 caliber semi automatic weapon.
Prosecutors said that Odin and Aaron were in contact just 10 hours before his death, reports TMZ. Furthermore, they believe Odin recently said something to Aaron that destroyed his trust, giving Aaron a motive to kill. Aaron’s girlfriend, Shayanna Jenkins is reported to be working with the DA, so perhaps she can shed more light on this matter.
New England Patriots Release Statement
Aaron was a tight end for the New England Patriots, but was cut from the team almost immediately following his arrest.
The New England Patriots issued the following statement:
A young man was murdered last week and we extend our sympathies to the family and friends who mourn his loss. Words cannot express the disappointment we feel knowing that one of our players was arrested as a result of this investigation. We realize that law enforcement investigations into this matter are ongoing. We support their efforts and respect the process. At this time, we believe this transaction is simply the right thing to do.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Do you think Aaron is guilty of murder? Is his mother right to defend him?
