‘DWTS’: Zendaya Should Have Won Instead Of Kellie Pickler

On the May 21 finale of 'Dancing with the Stars,' Kellie won the mirror ball trophy while Zendaya finished in second place. I think Zendaya was totally and utterly robbed! It was a tense season finale of Dancing with the Stars on May 21, but it was a joyous moment when Kellie Pickler was awarded the mirror ball trophy and crowned the season 16 winner. But it should have been Zendaya who won! While Kellie is an amazing dancer and she totally brought her A-game, Zendaya was an overall better dancer and she should have been the one to take home the trophy.

‘Dancing With The Stars’ — Zendaya Should Have Won

Kellie, 26, and Zendaya, 16, were the final two on the season finale, and the crowd was overjoyed when Kellie won. Yes, Kellie is an amazing dancer, and she deserved to dance the encore dance after moving Carrie Ann Inaba to tears with her performance, but I really thought Zendaya had the edge.

Zendaya should have won for several reasons, including the fact that she stole the show on opening night and totally set the bar so high for the season. Plus, she was the first dancer to get a perfect score with her amazing salsa, and she was the first person to score a ten.

Mostly, Zendaya was the best! Len Goodman summed it up correctly when he said that the one word that summed up great dancing is “Zendaya.”

Zendaya proved how versatile she is by dancing a Tango, hip hop, jazz and salsa so well, and she never once scored below 24. At 16-years-old, she is the youngest ever contestant on the show, and she is also the best.

She should have won!

Dancing With The Stars — Congratulations To Kellie Pickler

I don’t want to be a total bitter Betty, because Kellie really was fantastic! I think her freestyle dance won her the edge, and like Zendaya she got a perfect score at the finale.

If only there could have been two winners!
