“My best interest is in the girls,” Summer tells us. “They’re always going to have a relationship because of them and it’s important to me because if not it’s going to be hard on the girls and hard on everybody.”
Summer, who has only known Corey for a month and a half, has already met the twins. “I met the girls. His dad had a Christmas party and I went to it,” she shares with us. “It’s a good time, especially for me to be around them when they are so young. I really just tried to talk to them. I can’t wait till I actually can be around them [more].”
It’s important to Summer that she’s active in the girls’ lives. “If me and Corey are going to be together, that’s a huge part of his life,” she explains. “I’ll definitely be a part of it.”
And she has actually met Leah too. “I have met her enough to say hey,” she reveals. “I haven’t really had a conversation with her. We ran into them out somewhere. We talked to them a little bit, her and Jeremy. Corey introduced me and stuff. It wasn’t awkward or anything. I’m sure I’m eventually going to talk to her, especially me being around the girls a lot.”
Summer respects the way Corey and Leah raise Ali and Aleeah. “I really want everyone to realize how great parents Leah and Corey both are,” she says. “They are like the best. Between Corey’s parents, and Leah and Corey, they have the best of both worlds.”
Corey is a great dad. “Corey spoils them,” Summer gushes. “He’s in love with those girls.”
