“I didn’t want to do much research on the witchcraft world considering my character is so new to that world,” confesses Britt. ” Learning as my character learns was the best decision for me.”
Had she heard of the series before she was asked to audition? “I didn’t really have any knowledge of the story at all, I mean I knew Kevin’s [Williamson] work with the ‘Scream’ movies, and I love that kind of thing but I had never really seen ‘Vampire Diaries’ up until meeting with him, and then I was like I got to get into ‘The Vampire Diaries’!”
