Police believe they may have found the location of Stacy Petersonā€™s body in Peoria, Illinois.

The Will County Police Department may have made a huge break in their ongoing case against alleged murderer Drew Peterson with the potential discovery of the body of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson. Drew, who is currently behind bars awaiting trial for the murder of his third wife Kathleen Savio, told a fellow inmate about how he killed and disposed of Stacyā€™s body. TMZ reports, ā€œPeterson told the inmate he had an accomplice help him dispose of the body. The inmate then told authorities about his discussion with Peterson, which led them to the alleged accomplice. Weā€™re told the accomplice informed Will County Sheriffā€™s officials and prosecutors that the body was buried just outside Peoria, Illinois.ā€

Kathleenā€™s lifeless body was discovered in a waterless bathtub on March 1, 2004, and her death ruled an accidental drowning. Following the disappearance of Stacy in October of 2007, Kathleenā€™s body was exhumed and her death determined to be not an accidental drowning but rather a homicide staged to look like an accident. Stacy, who provided Drewā€™s alibi for the evening of Kathleenā€™s death, had told her pastor that Drew had killed Kathleen and she was afraid of him.

Drew was indicted on murder charges for the death of Kathleen on May 7, 2009 with bail set at $20 million. Due to a lack of evidence and the location of a body however, he was never formally charged with the murder of fourth wife Stacy.
