Kim Kardashian may be paying the price for breaking that ‘no pictures’ rule at the Met Gala! The reality star was left off a long list of A-list celeb attendees mentioned on the cover of a special edition of ‘Vogue.’ Is this Editor-in-Cheif Anna Wintour’s way of calling her out for taking selfies inside?!
Kendall Jenner’s, 19, name appears alongside the likes of A-listers like Rihanna, Jennifer Lawrence and Beyonce on Vogue’s Special Edition Met Gala cover — but her big sister, Kim Kardashian, 34, didn’t quite make the cut! Could it be because she broke Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour’s, No. 1 Met Ball rule not to take personal photos at the event?!
Anna Wintour Disses Kim Kardashian: Leaves Her Off ‘Vogue’ Met Gala Cover
Was a selfie with Madonna worth this, Kim!?
The reality star posted several pictures to her Instagram page on the night of the Met Ball May 4, despite Anna’s strict rule that phones weren’t allowed inside, and now, she’s been left off a Vogue Magazine cover that names the biggest stars at the Gala!
Rihanna is front-and-center on the Special Edition cover, which is no surprise, considering her enormous yellow dress was definitely the night’s most talked-about ensemble. But while J.Law, Beyonce, Amal Clooney, Jennifer Lopez, Robert Pattinson, Lady Gaga, and even Kim’s own teenage sister, Kendall, were also mentioned on the cover, the 34-year-old’s name is nowhere in sight!
Kim has had a friendly relationship with Anna for the last few years — she and husband, Kanye West, 37, graced the mag’s cover in 2014 — but her blatantly breaking her golden rule may have put a strain on the friendship!
“Anna is very aware of all the celebrities who ignored her request,” an insider told VH1’s The Gossip Table. “She does not know what she’s going to do yet, but she’s deciding.”
After the event, Kim defended her Instagram photos, insisting that she didn’t even have her phone on her, but used Kanye’s to snap the shots.
Tell us, HollywoodLifers — do you think Anna kept Kim off the cover because she broke the no photo rule?!
