Vanessa Hudgens immediately shut down pregnancy rumors in response to an online commenter who alleged that she was “hiding” a baby bump. After celebrating her bachelorette party amid her engagement with fiancé Cole Tucker, Vanessa, 34, didn’t hesitate a moment’s notice to clear the air.

“Why does she look pregnant to me or like she’s trying to hide a bump?” the Instagram user asked under Vanessa’s October 24 video post. “Not pregnant so y’all can stop,” the High School Musical alum replied.

Quite a few others also wondered whether Vanessa was pregnant. However, many fans pointed out how disrespectful this presumption is. One person pointed out how “rude” it is to even ask that, while another commenter wrote, “Y’all need to stop. She commented saying she isn’t pregnant. Also, even if she is, let her announce it when she’s ready instead of annoying her in the comments section. I don’t get why people are so invested in things that aren’t their business.”

Aside from the baseless pregnancy speculation, some Instagram users alleged that Vanessa — as an avid Halloween lover — might exchange vows with Cole, 27, on October 31.

“Oh, you definitely getting married on Halloween [sic],” one person claimed. “If you’re gonna get married on Halloween, I’m gonna faint, ma’am,” another chimed in.

Vanessa’s video montage featured shots of her on her bachelorette weekend trip to Aspen, Colorado. The clip began with Vanessa arriving to the venue in an all-white outfit, holding a matching Prada tote bag and tipping a cowgirl hat. Other moments included the Tick, Tick … Boom star’s bridesmaids giving her the ultimate girls’ trip.

Cole and Vanessa announced their engagement in February of this year after two years of dating. Based on the Disney Channel alum’s Instagram post at the time, it appeared that the baseball player popped the big question while on a trip to Paris, as a snapshot of the Eiffel Tower was in the background of one of Vanessa’s photos.

Vanessa found her true love after she split from ex-boyfriend Austin Butler in early 2020. Since she and Cole first got together in late 2020, the “Come Back to Me” singer has given fans a glimpse into their relationship. During a 2021 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Vanessa gushed over how “perfect” Cole is for her.

“I am [happy]. I really am,” she told the outlet. “I think that it’s also so important to stay grateful for everything that you have in life. I’ve been making that a priority, and I feel like it’s just been making magic happen all the more.”
