Salma Hayek is in better shape than ever! The gorgeous 54-year-old sported a high cut, one piece swimsuit in a series of Instagram photos posted on Thursday, Jan. 7. In the third photo, Salma surprised her 16.9 million followers with an impressive move: an underwater handstand! She lifted her legs and torso up in the air for the cool shot, also revealing her perfectly toned derrière.
The Mexico native looked absolutely flawless as she opted to go makeup free, with the photos capturing her blemish-free complexion! Salma was an absolute beach babe with her wet hair as she rocked the blue-and-green color blocked swimsuit. In one photo, she closed her eyes as she floated in the green-ish colored water, appearing to be in total bliss! While she didn’t tag a location, it looked so dreamy in her photos with whimsical bungalows in the distance.
Salma has been posting up a storm from the apparent beach-front resort where she’s enjoying a getaway with her husband Francois-Henri Pinault — CEO of Gucci’s parent company Kering. The duo celebrated 2021 at the tropical spot, where Salma posted another bombshell snap in a burgundy bikini on Jan. 4. “Stop!!” Priyanka Chopra couldn’t help but gush in the comments, complimenting how good her friend was looking.
In the comments, fans were begging Salma — who is mom to 12-year-old daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault — for her diet and fitness tips! The Frida actress has previously confessed she doesn’t “work out” in a traditional sense, but has another physical tip to staying in shape. “Some people have the discipline to exercise in the morning, and I didn’t develop that,” she confessed to People back in 2015. “I work with a woman in London who taught me how to hold my body in a way where the muscles are activated all day long…So even when you brush your teeth, you’re working the muscles,” she added.
It turns out the trick has a name: restorative yoga, which is a gentle and slower approach to the practice! “It’s restorative yoga,” Salma went on. “She taught me to tone [my muscles] without clenching them. You relax them and focus on the parts that need to be used, but never with tension. If you’re aware of your body, you’d be surprised by the effect it can have,” Salma added.Click to Subscribe to Get Our Free HollywoodLife Daily Newsletter to get the hottest celeb news.
