One day after claiming he’s the “new Michael Jackson,” Lil Pump took a swipe at another music icon. The “Gucci Gang” rapper called out Eminem in a bizarre rant on his Instagram Story, calling him “lame as hell,” and dubbing him “old,” among other things. “Ay, f**k Eminem, you is lame as hell, ain’t nobody listening to your old ass,” Lil Pump says in the December 24 clip, which you can watch below. “You lame as f**k, b*tch! I woke up on bullsh*t today, I’m back on my f**k sh*t.”

It’s unclear what prompted Lil Pump, 20, to lash out at Slim Shady. Eminem, 48, has yet to respond, and some detractors on Instagram think that Lil Pump’s just trying to get a rise out of him — and a mention on a future diss track. The dream, right? As one person put it on Instagram, Lil Pump “knows the affiliation with Trump got him no clout so now wants to bring up one of the GOATs to be relevant again. This guy is a joke.”

Fans were furious when Lil Pump publicly endorsed Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election. The rapper even attended two campaign rallies for the president in November, the first in Miami. The next day, Trump brought him along to another rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Lil Pump got up onstage, wearing a red MAGA cap, and told the world he was voting for Trump (who called him “Lil Pimp”).

He may need to hold his breath when it comes to a potential diss track. Eminem literally just released a track apologizing to Rihanna for blasting her on an unreleased 2009 song. In the leaked song, Em had rapped that he “sided” with Chris Brown, who had just been convicted of mercilessly beating Rihanna at the Grammys. In his new track off Music To Be Murdered By, “Zeus,” Eminem pleads with Rihanna: “But, me, long as I re-promise to be honest / And wholeheartedly, apologies, Rihanna / For that song that leaked, I’m sorry, Ri / It wasn’t meant to cause you grief / Regardless, it was wrong of me.”
