Yolanda Hadid, 56, can’t get enough of her first grandchild! The ex-Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared an adorable snap of her cuddling daughter Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik‘s baby girl to Instagram story on Friday, Dec. 4 while on babysitting duty. “We spent the day while Mamma was away,” the former model wrote in cursive over the photo, tagging new mom Gigi. The blonde bundled up in a black puffer jacket, and while we couldn’t see the baby’s face, she looked cozy in a cute pink pom beanie!
The post comes after her 25-year-old daughter revealed she was back to work just three months after giving birth. “Would say back to work, BUT bein a mamma is a job like no otherrrr,” she wrote over a gorgeous Dec. 3 video, using a sparkling Instagram filter. “BACK IN THE OFFICE,” she declared, showing off her picture-perfect complexion. Gigi stayed fairly low key during her quarantined pregnancy, where she stayed with boyfriend Zayn, 27, mom Yolanda and sister Bella Hadid, 24, at their family farm in Pennsylvania. The Maybelline face confirmed news of her pregnancy via a virtual interview with Jimmy Fallon back in April, taped on the property.
Gigi and Zayn took to Instagram to announce the arrival of their little one with back-to-back posts. “Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world. So in love,” Gigi wrote on Sept. 23, sharing a black and white photo of the baby and Zayn’s tattooed hand. The couple have yet to announce the name of the baby, as well as reveal her face — but we’re sure she’s just as gorgeous as her parents. The star opted to keep her growing baby bump under wraps until just weeks before giving birth, revealing her changing body in an Instagram live video for fans — as well as in a recent throwback photo taken in August.
Doting grandma Yolanda also shared a glimpse of the baby girl on Thanksgiving, as Gigi sweetly kissed her daughter on the cheek! Motherhood has clearly come natural to the 25-year-old, who seems happier than ever since welcoming her first child. The Stuart Weitzman model appears to still be enjoying time at the family farm in PA, where she stepped out for a casual walk with her baby on Nov. 22. “A whole new kind of busy & tired… but she’s da bestie so she got Christmas decorations early,” she captioned the carousel post, which showed her snuggling the baby in a funky leopard carrier.
