Elie Tahari is skilled at designing clothes for the working woman, and this time, he’s helping her trade heels for sandals to sport during spring and summer. Navy maxi dresses with boho details and white monochrome outfits are just a few of the looks I loved — be sure to click through the gallery and comments with your favorite!
Designer and former ‘Runway’ contestant Michael Costello talks us through the entire episode in his latest recap. Read on to find out which designer’s dress will be manufactured and sold by Elie Tahari!
We start the show on New York City’s iconic Fifth Avenue, where we see the designers ogling the windows of one of the biggest designer’s offices. They go into the Elie Tahari store where they meet the one and only designer himself. This challenge’s prize? Elie Tahari is going to manufacture, produce and advertise the winning designer’s look! The proceeds go to Save the Garment Center, which is the cause that Mondo and I designed for last ‘All Stars’ season.
Emmy Rossum shows off her more creative side with handbag collection she designed exclusively for Elie Tahari!
Actress Emmy Rossum, star of Showtime’s Shameless, has always been a huge fan of designer Elie Tahari, so of course she agreed to design her own handbag for the brand! The bucket bag, fittingly named Emmy, comes in four different sizes in either tan, black, mushroom, yellow, white or metallic. The bags will be available in stores such as Neiman Marcus, Bergdof Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue starting in March. Although the prices may be a bit steep, ranging from $398 to $798, part of the proceeds will benefit the charity Safe Horizon.
