Rosario Dawson appeared to confirm that she’s in a new loving relationship with Nnamdi Okafor after breaking up with Sen. Cory Booker back in February. The Rent actress, 43, shared an adorable clip with her new beau on her Instagram on Sunday, August 7. The pair were riding a golf cart, and they told each other that they loved each other while at an event. She also included a fiery heart emoji and tagged Nnamdi in the video. 1. Nnamdi is a consultant
While many of Nnamdi’s social media accounts are not readily available to the public, his LinkedIn does indicate that he’s a “philanthropic strategist and consultant.” His two current positions listed on the profile are that he is the Executive Director of Strategic Engagement and Resource Acquisition for the California State University-Dominguez Hills, as well as the CEO and Organization Manager for VSN Management.
2. He studied at California State University, Fullerton
While one of his positions is with a CSU college, Nnamdi actually got his degree from CSU Fullerton. He seemingly double majored with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Criminal Justice and Corrections as well as Afro-Ethnic Studies.
3. He’s involved in a number of different charitable organizations
While he’s held a wide variety of positions, it’s clear that Nnamdi is very passionate about his philanthropic efforts. In his description of his VSN Management company, Nnamdi describes the organization as a “philanthropic management firm.” The company’s website describes its goals as helping clients meet their charitable goals. “The mission of VsN is to effectively manage the philanthropic agendas of its clients, promoting them to both a local and global community through a broad range of modern, cutting edge applications,” the mission statement reads.
4. He’s also a poet
Besides his work, Nnamdi is also a poet. While he’s done much work with different companies, he’s also shown off his interest in writing, and published a collection called 30days30poems back in 2012. The description called the book Nnamdi’s “humble bid at granting you an inside and honest look at the emotions, struggles and hang-ups he experienced in 30 days.”
5. He’s very private
Despite now dating The Mandalorian actress, Nnamdi seems to shy away from the spotlight. His Instagram account is private, even though Rosario tagged him in the clip where they were both confessing their love for one another. While he may keep his Instagram private, a number of Rosario’s friends and fans commented with heart emojis to show their support when she shared the video of them riding a golf cart together.
