Nick Cannon and Brittany Bell are officially the parents of two. The longtime couple, who re-confirmed their six-year relationship in early November, welcomed their little girl into the world when Brittany gave birth on just days before Christmas. Brittany, 33, broke the happy news with an adorable Instagram post including Nick, 40, son Golden Cannon, 3, and the new baby.
“The best gift ever… we have been surprised with… A GIRL!!!!!” the beauty pageant queen gushed on Dec. 25, adding a heart emoji. “Powerful Queen Cannon came this week perfect timing for Christmas. So much more to share. All I can say is that Nick was my rock through the most intense yet empowering natural water birth. It was nothing but POWERFUL….Merry Christmas!!!! THANK YOU GOD,” she added. While their baby girls face couldn’t be seen in the new photo, the newborn sweetly rested her head against Brittany’s shoulder.
This is the second child for Nick and Brittany, 33, who are the proud parents of three-year-old Golden. Nick has two kids from his marriage to Mariah Carey, nine-year-old twins Moroccan Cannon and Monroe Cannon. While fans were initially unsure of the father’s identity — she and Nick weren’t together at the time — she confirmed it was The Masked Singer host by captioning a baby bump post on Instagram “cannon ball”. Brittany and Nick, who first started dating in 2014, experienced an on and off relationship in the following years. They confirmed that they were officially “on” again after they were spotted holding hands.
A source close to the couple told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY that while their relationship is “complicated,” they’re committed to each other and so happy. “Brittany couldn’t be happier about where things stand between them right now and she’s just focused on the present and preparing for the arrival of their baby,” the insider said. “She feels so grateful and her life is full of blessings because she’s surrounded by amazing friends and family. Brittany knows she and Nick are on the same page and she’s excited about growing their family together.”
