Merry Christmas to Hailie Jade Scott Mathers — and a happy birthday. Eminem‘s daughter rang in her 25th birthday on Christmas, and celebrated the milestone in a gorgeous Instagram photo. “25 on the 25th,” Hailie captioned the shot of her wearing a strapless black dress by a pair of golden balloons, which beared her new age. Hailie admitted, though, that she had envisioned her 25th birthday going a bit differently.
“Even though this isn’t the ‘golden’ birthday i originally would’ve planned, i know i will still make 25 my year regardless,” the fashion influencer continued. She added, “I feel so blessed & lucky to be here and at this place in my life. merry christmas & happy holidays everyone!!”
In general, 2020 hasn’t gone exactly as planned; the Michigan State University graduate took a six-month hiatus from Instagram between May and November. When she finally returned, Hailie wrote, “Does the explanation ‘2020′ work for everyone here?” Since then, however, Hailie has resumed uploading her usual fashion content.
Leading up to Christmas, Hailie showed off her leather jacket and punk rock boots from Target (which are currently on clearance). In another post, she showed off her winter style in Forever 21’s “Plaid Button-Front Shacket” and a newsboy cap, which she wore while posing by a snowy landscape.
As you can see, Hailie has been getting back into her influencer groove after her Instagram break. Right before going on her hiatus, Hailie admitted that she wanted to “get back into” a routine and share it with her two million Instagram followers. “BUT as things are starting to get a bit less chaotic/anxious i’m going to try to slowly get back into somewhat of a routine & start sharing that with you! not exactly sure what that will look like yet but at the very least i will be pushing my butt to workout! So keep an eye on my stories if you need some motivation because i know i certainly could use some lately,” Hailie had written in an Instagram post in May.
