“I give thanks every day for you, my sweet True!!!!” Khloe Kardashian captioned the photo of True Thompson she posted to her Instagram on Nov. 24. Two days before Khloe, 36, and True, 2, would celebrate Thanksgiving, the Good American co-founder shared a picture of her and Tristan Thompson’s daughter sitting on a white fence. True rocked a pink tie-dye outfit and had a flower in her hand. “Always stop to smell the roses, cutie,” added Khloe.

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, it seems “gratitude” is on Khloe’s mind. The message she posted on Tuesday mirrored the one she posted last year. “Every day, I give thanks that I was chosen to be your mommy!” Khloe captioned the 2019 post, one that showed her kissing her then 1-year-old daughter through a window. “I’ll never ever take this role for granted! Thank you, Tutu! I will easily love you until the end of time! ♡ #Thanksgiving #Thankful.”

This will be True’s third Thanksgiving. She was only a few months old when Khloe, True, and Tristan celebrated Turkey day in Cleveland. Tristan, then a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, couldn’t ask for a better Thanksgiving, judging by the spread he and Khloe shared to Instagram. From the multiple plates of cookies to the tasty appetizers to the main course, it was a Thanksgiving dinner that would put many others to shame. Khloe said she spent her morning “cooking my heart out,” and – as they say – the proof was in the pudding. Or, in this case, stuffing.

Though a lot has changed since that first Thanksgiving between True, Tristan, and Khloe, it seems like Thanksgiving 2020 might be another time that the three come together to give thanks. After nine years with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Tristian is doing like the Dropkick Murphys and “Shipping Up To Boston,” having signed a two-year deal with the Celtics for a reported $19 million. This might mean future Turkey Days in Massachusetts for Khloe and True, when the NBA returns to a non-COVID-19 affected schedule.

Despite the increased distance – Boston is a long, long way from Calabasas – Tristan is “adamant that he will continue to fight for her and he will continue to spend all the time he possibly can with her and True,” a source told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY after the deal was announced. Tristan has enjoyed all the extra time with Khloe and True, and “he will definitely miss them,” the source says. “But he’s vowed not to let the distance change anything.”
