Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Zack Clayton Carpinello‘s relationship is over, according to Us Weekly on October 11. The Jersey Shore star, 33, “ended the relationship” with her much younger boyfriend, a source says, following his flirtations with her co-star, Angelina Pivarnick. Side note: Angelina, 33, is set to marry her fiance, Chris Larangeira “hopefully in the fall sometime,” she previously told HollywoodLife at the end of July.
The splits news comes just one day after a new episode of Jersey Shore aired, which showed Zack getting handsy with Angelina. JWoww later shared an emotional message on the night MTV aired the episode and explained that she had no idea at the time, about her then-boyfriend’s behavior. “After seeing tonight’s episode I’m pretty hurt,” she began in a note she posted on Instagram. “I feel disrespected by someone I called a friend and by someone who stated they loved me.”
JWoww explained: “For 5 months I was kept in the dark about this. For 5 months I was naive, probably laughed at and made into a story line that will forever haunt me. My heart hurts on so many levels. One thing I learned from tonight’s episode is know your value. Don’t ever lower your standards.”
In the episode Zack is seen hugging Angelina’s waist before he touches her butt while the two are in a Las Vegas club. Meanwhile, JWoww is seemingly passed out.
Angelina later tells her fiance, Chris that Zack made a pass at her. “I feel his hand go *slaps butt* right on me,” she explains, to which Chris doesn’t look happy.
Later on in a confessional, Angelina explains that Zack’s actions took her off guard. “One minute he’s asking me about my sex life, the next minute he’s grabbing me!”, she says, adding, “He doesn’t know what boundaries are. This is gonna be a problem.”
In the midst of the chaos, a midseason trailer for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation foreshadowed an all out war over the handsy moment. Jenni confronts Angelina while the cast is sitting at dinner. “How much do you commit to a lie?”, she says to Angelina, before the two appear to get physical.
JWoww went public with Zack in April on Instagram, after teasing a mystery relationship on social media for weeks prior. Jenni also confirmed the relationship on an episode Nicole Snooki Polizzi‘s podcast It’s Happening With Snooki & Joey.
When asked the name of her new man, Jenni responded, “24,” explaining, “We’re filming Jersey Shore right now and we nicknamed him ’24.’“ Nicole added that Jenni had “been going through some sh-t, but I’ve never seen this girl more happier and more herself than this moment right now.”
Fans of Jenni will know that she filed for divorce from Roger Mathews, 43, in September 2018, after the two had a nasty and very public split. The pair — who share two children together, Meilani and Greyson — were married for nearly three years.
