Michelle Martens, 35, the New Mexico mom who admitted to witnessing her 10-year-old daughter, Victoria Martens‘, rape right before the girl was murdered, also recently confessed to having organized multiple sexual assaults against not just Victoria but also against Victoria’s brother Matthew, 8 — while she watched! She told police, according to People magazine, that this had been going on for MONTHS, and that she did it because she “enjoyed” watching her children get sexually assaulted.
In over 300 pages of newly released police documents — including police interview transcripts with Michelle, the mom-of-two explained to detectives that she forced her children, Victoria and Matthew, into sexual assaults, also explaining why, which is the most chilling part of all! She confessed to setting up meetings with multiple men to have sex with her son and daughter all for her own pleasure.
Michelle also told police she too was sleeping with the men. She found these men via online dating apps as well as at her job at a store called Buy Buy Baby. She ended up arranging these meetings between them and her children because she was “curious,” according to the documents. However, that curiosity soon vanished after Michelle apparently realized that she enjoyed witnessing these rapes.

Within the last year, multiple men raped her son and daughter. In order to calm the children down before and during the assaults, they used meth or sleep-aid products like ZzzQuil, Michelle revealed to police. The transcripts reportedly show that investigators tried to get an exact number of assaults on both children, but Michelle changed her story multiple times.
But just how did this all start? It appears that it all began after a man that Michelle was dating assaulted Victoria, she told police. When she found out the man was allegedly assaulting her, she “got rid of him.” Sadly, however, the abuse did not end. That incident apparently sparked something very dark within Michelle, which is when she began using dating apps, such as Plenty of Fish, to pick out predators for her children.
She apparently looked for “cues” and “signs” to pick up on whether they were interested in having sex with Victoria and Matthew. “They asked me if I have any kids,” she said of how she could tell if the men were interested in her children. “I [would say] I have two… I saw the signs [they] would give [Victoria].”
Michelle even told police that some of the men would also have sex with her son before sleeping with her. SO awful. The night Victoria died, which happened on Aug. 23, the day after her 10th birthday, Michelle revealed to police that she allegedly witnessed her boyfriend, Fabian Gonzales, and his cousin Jessica Kelley rape, kill, and dismember her daughter. Michelle said she “let them do it [the sexual assault]” as she watched Victoria beg for it to end. Lucky for Matthew, he reportedly was not present at the time.
Michelle now faces charges of kidnapping and child abuse resulting in death while Fabian faces those same charges as well as child rape. Jessica has been charged with kidnapping, child abuse resulting in death, and child rape. Their trials are expected to take place next year.
