The Amber Heard and Johnny Depp saga just keeps getting more complicated. According to an update from the Los Angeles police, Amber had no visible injuries that fateful Saturday night. Get the details here.
Amber Heard was allegedly attacked by Johnny Depp on May 21, and the two police officers who interviewed Amber that night continue to say that Amber reportedly had no visible injuries when they were called to the apartment. Read on for the latest.
The officers, who interviewed Amber the night of the alleged attack, have spoken to superiors at the LAPD brass on May 31, according to TMZ. “[The officers] said they had no idea Johnny Depp was involved at all — the 911 call came in under the name Heard, and they did not associate her with Depp,” the site says. “The information the [police] had when they knocked at her door was only that there was a domestic dispute.”
The report adds that Amber wouldn’t let the police in, opening the door just a crack. “They questioned her through the door and she said it was a simple verbal argument with her husband. She never mentioned Depp by name,” the report continues. “The officers told her they needed to make sure she wasn’t declining help under duress, so they insisted on coming in and speaking with her. Amber obliged, and the officers say they looked at her closely enough to determine there were no marks, swelling or bruising on her face or other exposed parts of her body.” Finally, the police say that they definitely would have taken a report from Amber and tracked down Johnny, had they seen any signs of injury.
