Meghan was the first one out on stage at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Against a rainy background, she serenaded the audience attending the Nov. 22 awards show with her song, “Like I’m Gonna Lose You.” But Meghan clearly wanted to spice things up. And that’s where Charlie came in.
Charlie appeared alongside Meghan for a performance of their duet, “Marvin Gaye.” From there, things definitely got heated, not just between Charlie and Meghan, but all the dancers. Everyone on stage started kissing at the start of the song, during the chorus and at the end! Charlie and Meghan got in on the make-out action! Meghan and Charlie are about to kiss at the end of the “Marvin Gaye” music video, but this AMA make-out session was longer, hotter and far more passionate. Wow! Here’s 5 things to know about Charlie!
In addition to performing, Meghan and Charlie were at the show as nominees. Meghan was up for Artist of the Year, Favorite Female Artist – Pop/Rock and Favorite Artist — Adult Contemporary. Charlie scored his first ever AMA nominations: for Song of the Year and for Collaboration of the Year (for “See You Again” with Wiz Khalifa.)
The 2015 edition of the AMAs were full of music’s brightest stars taking the stage. 5 Seconds Of Summer rocked the house with their song, “Hey Everybody” and Selena Gomez wowed everyone with her new hit, “Same Old Love.” Plus, the awards show will see performances from Macklemore (with Ryan Lewis), Nick Jonas and One Direction. On top of all that, Selena’s famous ex, Justin Bieber, is scheduled to close out the show. After they were spotted together on a romantic night out, we can’t wait to see what Justin has planned!
