“It was love at first sight,” Kaitlyn explained to People. “I didn’t think I could be this happy,” she added.
Shawn could not agree more. “She just makes me feel different, something that I’ve never felt before,” he said. “It’s what I’ve been looking for.”
And though the couple has no immediate wedding plans, they are beyond excited for their (regular) future together. “We just want to do anything normal,” Shawn said. “Going out to dinner, just hanging out with our family and our friends.”
“And grocery shopping!” Kaitlyn added. Alright, enough with the ridiculous cuteness, you guys. You’re making the rest of us feel bad.

As those who watched the season know, it wasn’t always smooth sailing for Kaitlyn and Shawn, however, it looks like the clouds have cleared for the happy couple. “We have such an honest relationship,” Kaitlyn said. “Every day I think, I picked the right guy… I went through a lot of challenges. But I found the person that I will be the happiest with, and that is worth it.”
We couldn’t agree more. Wishing the two pretty people the happiest of futures together– and all the grocery shopping they could possibly want!
