It was an absolute bombshell when news broke that the One Direction band member and his friend, Briana Jungwirth, 23, were expecting their first child on July 14, but it seems like Louis has really been taking the whole thing very maturely.

“Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother,” People, the publication that broke the news, reported. “It was a surprise at first, but he and Briana are very, very close friends and this has brought them even closer.” The singer even vowed to be a “hands on” dad, which we don’t doubt at all.
And Louis isn’t the only one who’s excited to have a little toddler around — his 1D band mates are also pumped! “Harry [Styles], Niall [Horan] and Liam [Payne] are all completely thrilled about Louis’ baby news and can’t wait to be the fun ‘uncles,'” an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “They plan on treating that kid like he or she is their very own.”
Even Zayn Malik, who left that band and publicly feuded with Louis just a few months ago, is supporting is longtime pal on this one. “Zayn sent Louis a really open, honest and emotional letter congratulating him,” our source revealed. “Zayn told him what a great father he thought Louis would be and how proud he was of his friend. It actually brought tears to Louis’ eyes. The baby news has helped reunite them. They had been so close, only to be pulled spat during all the Naughty Boy BS, but Zayn still thinks of Louis as a brother, and the fact that he’s going rob e a father really had a profound effect on him.”
